On January 27, 2025, SoWhen? had the pleasure of participating in Isart Connect, the annual event organized by ISART DIGITAL, a leading school in video games, 3D/VFX, and Sound Design. This must-attend event allows students to interact with industry professionals and attend conferences and workshops dedicated to technological advancements and career opportunities.
For this edition, we had the honor of co-presenting a conference with Agathe Turlotte, Education Advisor at Unreal Engine, on a topic that drives our passion and shapes our profession: real-time technology and its impact far beyond video games.
The skills acquired in video game development extend far beyond the gaming industry. At SoWhen?, we see this every day: real-time 3D is a powerful tool with applications in entertainment, industry, communication, training, mobility, and much more.
By sharing our expertise with students, we aim to help them understand the versatility of their skills and show them how these skills can open doors to diverse career paths. Our presentation focused on this broadening of professional horizons, highlighting real-world examples from our own experience.
