An interactive and immersive phygital showroom for corporate clients

ACJ's design studio in Toulouse

ACJ WAS LOOKING TO OFFER ITS CORPORATE CLIENTS A LUXURY EXPERIENCE OF DISCOVERY AND CUSTOMIZATION FOR ITS TWOTWENTY JETS

The objectives of this immersive and interactive showroom:

  • To offer its corporate clients a luxury experience of discovery and customization for its TwoTwenty jets.
  • To be able to compare, on a 1:1 scale, its own jets with those of its competitors.
  • To provide realistic immersion for an effective projection.

And so Airbus Corporate Jets, a subsidiary of the aircraft manufacturer, opened its design studio in Toulouse for corporate clients.

With the help of this augmented studio, ACJ can customize the cabin of its “TwoTwenty” jets and immerse its audience in the aircraft. “Thanks to the latest technologies, we offer our clients a real-time and immersive design experience,” says Benoît Defforge, president of ACJ. “It’s important to make them experience the ultimate space and comfort that our aircraft brings.”

The challenges of this immersive experience:

  • Creating a smooth and efficient user experience while handling technical and detailed data

  • Offering real-time, realistic immersion

  • Overcoming the difficulties of projecting (shadows and light pollution) onto a surface of 6m x 8m with 8 video projectors.

  • Creating an accurate system (precise enough for measurements to be taken with a tape measure) for a 1:1 scale projection of virtual elements onto the ground, regardless of the aircraft selected.

PARTNERSHIP WITH OSSATURE

For this project, we worked with Ossature for the design, layout and carpentry of the entire showroom.

This augmented showroom is a great sales tool for the company’s sales representatives, an effective marketing tool thanks to its immersiveness and extensive levels of customization.
