As an exhibitor at the Paris International Agricultural Show in 2019, Enedis wanted to showcase the company’s services and professions to children.
Our task was to find an experience that would highlight the fun side of electrical engineering and maintenance manager jobs.
Finding the right way to get kids interested in these technical subjects!
Creating a world that allows users to explore a variety of Enedis subjects.
To raise children’s awareness of the Enedis Group’s professions, we opted for an interactive and sensory model.
Thanks to its fun and colorful design, our interactive device easily drew children to the stand.
A “simple” and intuitive immersive installation was built to allow children to step aboard an aerial work platform. They steered the platform and answered a quiz with a joystick and a button. The evolving scenery in front of the platform provided the kids the feeling of ascending with the
platform, to reach the top of utility poles for example. This immersion in the daily life of Enedis workers was possible thanks to the content of the quiz presented on a screen located at front of the platform. No VR headsets were necessary to give the children the impression of being on the platform in different environments: city, countryside, aerial views…
To further enhance the children’s experience as an Enedis professional, we encouraged them to wear traditional Enedis worker gear, such as a helmet and a fluorescent vest. The sensory approach is a powerful way of creating vivid memories of the experience. It was a guaranteed success, as the children loved to dress up and role-play as the workers!
