Lyon EDF Showroom

Immersive and Interactive Digital Models

For an innovative presentation of their products

Two applications, 2 different approaches to offer a meaningful experience to their audience at the heart of their showroom in Lyon.

First one

The objectives of this immersive and interactive model

EDF wanted to be able to present some of its nuclear products in a realistic way, with a macro to micro view, according to the needs of the audience.

The creation of an application in the form of a digital model met this need. This interactive application presents their products with different levels of interpretation and is accessible in the showroom via a touchscreen.

The challenges of this interactive model.

  • The complexity of a nuclear product
  • Successfully showing and integrating them in a clear way: numerous exchanges with their engineers to find the right level of detail while respecting the confidentiality of certain data.

Our mission

Presentation of nuclear products (reactors and other elements):

Creation of an interactive application using Unreal Engine to present nuclear products in a stylized universe in a realistic manner, through a free, smooth, and efficient navigation. Each product can be discovered, either in a global or a micro way. The audience can indeed observe their composition, layer by layer, through sectional views. Points of interest provide them with data to understand and remember.

These digitized products are reused in other experiences or presentations, such as simulations of installation in specific environments.
