THE SERVICE PARTNER PROGRAM

When you work with a Service Partner, you are working with a trusted, Epic-approved network of Unreal Engine experts.
WHAT IS UNREAL ENGINE
The world's most open and advanced real-time 3D tool
Unreal Engine powers real-time experiences across industries, from games and film to automotive, simulation, and architecture.

Proven expertise, lower risk for your project
- Approved by the engine’s makers: Epic has already validated each partner’s Unreal Engine capability, so you begin from a position of trust.
- Lower delivery risk: Partners have proven Unreal Engine workflows across many projects and pipelines, with a track record of successful delivery.
- Ahead of the curve: Partners join Epic’s private network, learn about engine features in advance, and have access to Epic learning resources, so your project benefits from the latest the engine offers.
- Proven and active: To keep their badge, partners must deliver consistent Unreal Engine projects and contribute to the community through talks and engagements, so their status reflects real, current activity.

SoWhen?’s teams’ expertise in Unreal Engine:
SoWhen?, a CreaTech company founded in 2010, supports major international groups across a wide range of industries in the strategic creation and activation of their Digital Heritage. SoWhen? has been using Unreal Engine since 2014 to create innovative interactive content and experiences that help its clients achieve their goals.
The company has its own R&D lab and a hybrid studio called “Multivert”, connected to Unreal Engine, UEFN, and its proprietary technology building blocks. This space is dedicated to the production of innovative content (virtual production, markerless motion capture with Captury, the only studio in France equipped with this technology!), and serves as both a playground for R&D and an experimentation space for clients during workshops.
SoWhen? has brought all the necessary expertise in-house to support its clients in innovating their communication. It provides end-to-end services, from consulting and creative concepts to the deployment of physical or virtual experiences, whether long-term programs or one-off events.

SoWhen? also founded its own training center, The CreaTech Learning Center, which is Qualiopi-certified. Through this center, SoWhen? trains industry professionals and clients in the use of new image technologies, AI-enhanced content production, and the creation of Fortnite islands, all connected to Unreal Engine and UEFN.
SoWhen? has brought together all the expertise required to support its clients in innovating their communication strategies. The company provides end-to-end services, from consulting, training, and creative concept development to the deployment of physical or virtual experiences, whether for long-term initiatives or one-off events.

SoWhen? also produces its own experiences in the fields of entertainment, art, and culture. One example is its co-production with ARTE, set in the world of metal, for the Fortnite experience ARTE Riff Mountain , including Carpenter Brut’s gamified concert.

SoWhen? leverages leading market technologies and develops its own technology building blocks to optimize production (saving time and money) and drive innovation by connecting them to Unreal Engine.
A few examples of client work include:
- Real-time virtual worlds with procedural systems, AI, large-scale environments, and abundant data.
